So, I decided to submit some of my art for print here for convenience sake rather than just sell on fineartamerica(dot)com. I'll admit to being a bit ambivalent about that, since the artist percent is so much smaller here. However, I am hoping that the amount of sales off-sets some of the loss I'm taking with this move. I was sad to see that some of my uploads aren't large enough for print here (even though testing at FineArt showed that they printed just fine there). Anyone have any idea how this could be?
Anyway, so it's pretty clear that the theme for today is BIGGER! That's something I can definitely do - especially with my digital art. So, step one was to gather all my blank discs and flash drives that aren't already being taken up with other projects, and prep them for storage. Normally I keep backups of my work anyway, but since I'll be scaling up in size I want to make sure I have plenty of free space starting out. (I'm a bit OCD about that, I guess.)
So my question is: What exactly is the cut-off size for DA to print material?
